Why Dostoevsky?
This site grew out of a strong personal impression left by Dostoevsky. What struck me most was how alive and precise many of his thoughts still feel more than 150 years later. They still speak about human nature as if they were written not in the past, but somewhere very close to us. I wanted to create a space where these fragments could be returned to slowly — one day at a time
From idea to launch
The site was conceived, designed, and built by one person in 10 days — from the first idea to production and content. The concept, visual language, graphics, video, sound design, layout, and animations were created as one cohesive authorial space. Some backgrounds are animated and include spatial sound — they are best experienced with headphones
